Ronda Rousey didn’t like losing at Money In The Bank and she let her frustrations really run amok the next night on Raw. After assaulting her WrestleMania partner Kurt Angle with the Money In The Bank briefcase she put Alexa Bliss through a table. Everyone got a piece of Rousey as she demonstrated a side of her character the WWE Universe hadn’t seen up until that point.
Kurt Angle had no choice but to suspend Ronda Rousey after her assault. Therefore it looks like Ronda Rousey will be off of television for the next 30 days which is a very smart way of writing her off of television so they don’t have to book her in an Extreme Rules match.
F4WOnline reports WWE has confirmed Rousey will still be making most of her previous commitments regardless of her suspension. This includes Sunday’s live event in Anaheim, July 6th at Madison Square Garden, and July 8th in Bridgeport, CT. But she has since been removed from advertisements for Extreme Rules so she won’t be working that pay-per-view.
Rousey was on the tickets for SummerSlam so it’s very likely she’ll be back in action by then. But on a very interesting note, even though Rowdy Ronda was pulled from the Extreme Rules advertisements, she is still being advertised to appear at Raw when they roll into San Diego next week as well as July 9th’s live Raw broadcast from Boston and July 16th’s Raw in Buffalo, New York.
Therefore, just because she’s suspended probably doesn’t mean the WWE Universe won’t be seeing any of Ronda Rousey for a whole 30 days.
