More details on the WWE 2K15 soundtrack being curated by John Cena
WWE and 2K announced the following today:
2K Announces WWE® 2K15 Soundtrack Curated By WWE Superstar John Cena®
Atlantic Records to release eclectic mix of tracks, including two original collaborations between John Cena and hip-hop powerhouse Wiz Khalifa
WWE 2K15 companion soundtrack available at all digital retailers on October 21;
pre-order now at itunes.com/WWE2K15
“As the WWE 2K15 cover Superstar, curating the in-game soundtrack and working with Wiz Khalifa were great opportunities to further the musical brand as we do across all WWE programming,” said John Cena. “Reaching across many genres of music to some of my friends and those who have worked with WWE, I truly believe that gamers will become avid listeners of these songs.”
“I have been a WWE fan since I was a kid, and getting to work with John Cena was an awesome experience,” said Wiz Khalifa. “I’m proud of this collaboration.”

“2K is committed to making WWE 2K15 a premier entertainment experience,” said Chris Snyder, Vice President of Marketing at 2K. “John Cena’s partnership with 2K and work with artists like Wiz Khalifa represent another example of the great investment he has with the Company to make this year’s game incredible.”

Developed collaboratively by Yuke’s and Visual Concepts, a 2K studio, WWE 2K15 is rated T for Teen by the ESRB. WWE 2K15 is currently scheduled for release on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft on October 28, 2014 in North America and October 31, 2014 internationally. In addition, releases for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, are currently scheduled for release on November 18, 2014 in North America and November 21, 2014 internationally. Fans who pre-order WWE 2K15 at any participating retailer will receive two playable Sting characters at no extra cost on launch day.
