WWE 205 Live star Hideo Itami is headed towards the exit door on his tenure with the sports entertainment company. Although news broke late Tuesday about his departure from the WWE, it turns out that he has yet to receive a WWE release, according to Pwinsider.com. However, it was noted in a new report that he would be receiving one.
After WWE had wrapped up airing this week’s episode of 205 Live in Phoenix, AZ at the Talking Stick Resort Arena on the WWE Network, he said his goodbyes to everyone as that as his final scheduled night on the road with WWE.
Now, the next step for him is to receive his release papers and will be subject to the traditional 90-day no compete. As part of this situation, he will not be allowed to appear on any pro wrestling programming including television or pay-per-view until this timeline has passed.
The belief going around is that Itami is looking to return home to Japan and potentially back to Pro Wrestling Noah where he previously worked as KENTA.
