More NJPW talent may be headed to WWE

As noted earlier this week, the word going around WWE is that there may be more NJPW names joining AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson in WWE. Rocky Romero, Bad Luck Fale and Tama Tonga are names that may end up going to WWE. The only thing we know right now is that those three have not yet given notice yet.

Romero recently talked with WWE and the belief is that he would end up in a player/coach type of role in NXT. The belief is that Finn Balor suggested and recruited Fale and Tonga. Fale also had offers in the past but he and his family live in New Zealand and he has not shown interest in relocating to Orlando. Perhaps a bigger money deal might make him reconsider. Tonga, the son of WWE Legend Haku, lives in Orlando, but he may have an incentive to stay with NJPW because he is in line for a major push due to the recent departures.

We were asked by a couple of readers about the Bullet Club references on WWE.com and whether or not that meant that WWE purchased the trademark. I do know that New Japan Pro Wrestling still owns it. The plan is to continue with the Bullet Club faction in NJPW with Kenny Omega as the leader of the group.
