TMZ is reporting that Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart’s death occurred after he fell in his home this morning. According to emergency dispatch audio, they responded to a man having seizures and convulsions.
According to a statement from the Pasco Sheriff’s Office in Tampa, “Preliminary information indicates that [Neidhart] fell at home, hit his head, and succumbed to his injury.”
They added, “No foul play suspected. No additional information to release at this time.” Neidhart was battling Alzheimer’s disease.
Natalya vs. Alexa Bliss was scheduled for tonight’s Raw but that match has obviously been scrapped. Friends of the family were aware of Neidhart’s declining health but his death came as a shock to them today.
