The biggest name absent from Monday’s WWE Raw Reunion show in Tampa was Bret “The Hitman” Hart.
Some have speculated that he was not there because WWE was upset with him for appearing at AEW Double Or Nothing. Obviously, people in WWE were probably not thrilled about his AEW appearance but his absence at Raw had nothing to do with that.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Hart was invited to Raw Reunion and he declined and it’s simply because he’s loving summer in Calgary and he didn’t want to miss one day of it.
Hart is not taking any appearances until August. Meltzer also noted that Hart is in a great spot in his life that allows him to do what he wants and he doesn’t need to do anything he doesn’t want to at this stage.
I’ve always heard that Hart saved his money and never needs to work again. As you can see in the tweet below, The Hitman is loving life.
