From Monday’s angle on RAW where Brock Lesnar destroyed the commentary team (Michael Cole, JBL and Booker T), WWE has ran with an injury storyline with Michael Cole suffering a cervical fracture, or a broken neck, just a few short weeks after it was revealed by a medical examiner that Perro Aguayo Jr. died due to three cervical fractures.
Fans have been very outspoken by this and sources note that WWE did the angle anyways because it’s possible that WWE writer who did the Cole storyline injury was not aware of Perro’s cause of death.
However, keep in mind that WWE has over a dozen creative writers, so you would think someone would have pointed out that doing the angle in such a short time of Perro Aguayo Jr’s death would be a bad idea.
