WWE Raw Superstar Lyra Valkyria recently shared insights into the significant differences she has experienced since moving from NXT to the main roster.
Speaking on “The Takedown,” Valkyria described the contrasting atmospheres, schedules, and pressures of the two brands. She noted the consistency of NXT, stating, “It’s a very different environment, like NXT, you have the same crowd all the time… It’s a much smaller arena. The NXT people are going into the PC every single day. They’re in this routine.”
In contrast, she highlighted the demanding travel schedule of the main roster. “They’re there every single day whereas we’ve got a lot more travel. It’s RAW to RAW,” she explained.
However, Valkyria also pointed out a benefit of the main roster schedule, adding, “I also get a lot more time off to work on things as well, whereas I feel like NXT, you’re in there constantly.” Despite the challenges, the former NXT Women’s Champion expressed a clear preference for her current situation. “I personally love the travel,” Valkyria admitted. “I feel like it’s more trial by fire and with RAW, which I enjoy.”
