PWInsider.com reports that Giovanni Vinci, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have been released by WWE.
They join the list of talent who have been released by WWE. Those let go include Isla Dawn, Cedric Alexander, AOP (Rezar and Akam), their manager Paul Ellering, and Blair Davenport. Sonya Deville was informed that WWE wouldn’t be renewing her deal, which expires later this month.
Their first stint in WWE started in 2016, where they won the tag team titles twice. They were let go in WWE. They returned to WWE in 2022, once again aligning with AJ Styles and reforming “The O.C.” (Original Club). Most recently, they had been working in NXT. Anderson was sidelined in November with a torn rotator cuff tendon and a partially torn labrum.
Vinci debuted in NXT as part of the Imperium faction alongside Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser. Vinci’s association with Imperium ended, and he transitioned into a singles competitor, but hadn’t been used often.
