More current and former WWE talents have been revealed to have attended Vince McMahon’s 80th birthday party over the weekend, according to a now-deleted social media post from WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler. The gathering of top stars comes as McMahon is fully divested from WWE and its parent company, TKO Group Holdings.
In a group photo that was posted and later deleted (scroll down to see the photo), Lawler revealed the presence of several stars who were not on the previously reported list of attendees. The names pictured in the photo include The Miz, Maryse, Titus O’Neil, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, and Lawler himself.
These names are in addition to the list of wrestling legends who were already reported to have been at the party, which included The Undertaker, Michelle McCool, Kane, John Cena, Gerald Brisco, Sgt. Slaughter, Shane McMahon, and Ron Killings (R-Truth). The event also reportedly featured live musical performances from Kid Rock and AC/DC.
Vince McMahon’s Current Status
Vince McMahon resigned from his position as Executive Chairman of TKO in January 2024 following a lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant, which contained allegations of sexual assault and trafficking.
In the months since his resignation, McMahon has sold off his entire remaining stock in TKO, a move that has severed his financial and ownership ties to the company he ran for over four decades. He has also started a new, separate business venture under his Alpha Entertainment LLC.
Despite his complete and controversial exit from the company, the list of high-profile attendees at his private birthday celebration indicates that he still maintains strong personal relationships with many of the stars he helped create over the years. Click below to see the group photo.
