The rest of Hit Row (Top Dolla, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, and Ashantee Thee Adonis) were among the names let go by WWE on Thursday due to “budget cuts.” WWE had released B-Fab, who was also part of the group, earlier this month.
After the faction got over in NXT, they were moved to SmackDown in October as part of this year’s Draft.
Fightful Select recently reported that they have heard from officials from multiple companies, including major ones, who have shown interest in bringing in Scott.
Scott, also known as Shane Strickland, made a name for himself before signing with WWE as he worked for various promotions such as MLW, EVOLVE, and Lucha Underground.
Since the entire group was on the main roster, they are subject to a 90-day non-compete clause so it will be a few months before they can sign somewhere else. Top Dolla came out on Friday stating that he called WWE management about how they made a mistake by releasing B-Fab.
