WWE officially confirmed that Mustafa Ali will not be able to compete on Sunday due to an injury. What was not said is that he is out of the match because he suffered a concussion on Sunday.
Ali will be replaced by Kofi Kingston. On this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, a gauntlet match with all six competitors determined who would enter last in Sunday’s WWE Championship match. Kingston wrestled for over an hour but he was ultimately defeated by AJ Styles and Styles was quickly RKO’d and pinned by Randy Orton so it will be Orton who will be the last to enter the match on Sunday.
