During an interview with TMZ Inside The Ring, AEW’s MVP was asked about his previously stated criticisms of WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H. MVP did not back down from his earlier comments, confirming that his feelings have not changed and promising to reveal the full story at a later date on his own show.
MVP’s original comments about Triple H were made on social media earlier in 2025, causing a stir among wrestling fans. When the host provided him with the platform to discuss the issue, MVP declined to go into detail but made his position clear. “I’m gonna address that on my platform, on Marking Out with MVP and Dwayne Swayze,” he stated.
MVP then doubled down on his previous take, leaving no room for interpretation. “I stand by those words. I have zero respect for him, personally or professionally,” he said. “And when I tell why, then people will be like, ‘Okay, that makes sense.’”
He eneded his thoughts on the matter by referencing his personal code of conduct, implying that his issues with Triple H are direct and that he is not afraid to own his words. “If I say something about you, I will say it to you, and if you come and ask me about what I said, I’m not going to deny I said it. I’m going to say yes, I said that. Now what would you like to talk further? Where do we go from here? If I say something about you and you come and ask me about it, I’m not going to deny that I said it, and I’ll just leave it at that.”
