In response to the story in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter about the hotel confrontation with Chris Jericho this week, MVP sent out the following tweet: “Even when they get the story right, they get the details wrong. Gotta love the dirt sheets.”
The story told in the Observer is that MVP showed up at the hotel where AEW wrestlers were staying. There was said to be a confrontation around the time when Chris Jericho and Matt Hardy were talking.
As WrestlingNews.co noted earlier, MVP lives in Houston and he was likely there to see his good friend Matt Hardy and Jericho happened to be there. Also as noted earlier, MVP noted last year that he was blocked by Jericho on Twitter. Their last interaction was in regards to a Jericho tweet about the 2020 election.
