MVP was recently a guest on two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T’s podcast, “The Hall Of Fame,” to talk about several professional wrestling topics.
During the show, MVP confirmed that he will be beginning as a producer for WWE moving forward. The former United States Champion also didn’t rule out a return to WWE television in the future.
“I’m gonna go ahead and give you the scoop,” MVP said. “Whether or not I’ll be seen on WWE television more has yet to be seen, because I don’t make those decisions. I would definitely make myself available for an on-screen role in some capacity, but I’ll be joining the team as a backstage Producer. So, there’s your scoop.”
MVP is currently scheduled to be at tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW from Everett, Washington. Given his comments, it’s likely tonight will be his first episode of RAW as a WWE producer. Last week, MVP returned to host his VIP Lounge segment with Drew McIntyre
He made a surprise appearance during the Royal Rumble match last month in Houston. He then suffered a defeat to Rey Mysterio in the post-Rumble episode of RAW.
