MVP is the latest guest on Jim Ross’ podcast. MVP talks about being incarcerated for 9 years for armed robbery and kidnapping when he was a teenager. He talks about overcoming and coming out on the other side and getting into professional wrestling. MVP was close to Chris Benoit and travelled with him when he was in WWE. He talked about Chris having issues with his children that were in Canada. He also revealed that Chris took a lot of ecstasy when he was in WCW for years and was known to be a heavy partier. MVP said tried to stress that people shouldn’t forgive him but people should try to understand what might have led to Benoit killing his son and wife and the years of partying and the drugs he took could have played part in the double murder.
MVP also talked about The Undertaker’s streak ending. He says that he hated that it happened but he thinks he understands why it happened.
MVP says that he’s had discussions about trying new things in TNA. He agreed with JR on his point that they need to be different from their competitors. MVP doesn’t hold back on his thoughts. I highly recommend this podcast.
