AEW star MVP has continued his vocal criticism of WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, citing both booking decisions and personal interactions as reasons for his viewpoint.
The former WWE United States Champion, who left WWE in August 2024, has previously critiqued Triple H’s handling of Hurt Syndicate members and implied differential booking for Black talent.
Speaking on Bet Ideas, MVP pointed to Bobby Lashley’s trajectory as an example of his booking concerns under Triple H. “Let’s just say this, Bobby Lashley was a two-time WWE Champion, and after he took over, Bobby Lashley was reduced to the mid-card,” MVP stated.
When addressing perceptions that he’s just “griping,” MVP said, “Okay, well just watch the program. Who were the people in the top spots under his leadership? Who were given the opportunities?”
However, MVP clarified that his core issues with the WWE Hall of Famer are not rooted in race. “I’ll be honest with you, my issues with him have nothing to do with race,” he stated. “My issues have to do with him as a person and our personal interactions and things that he said and did that caused me to have zero respect for him.”
MVP promised to elaborate on these personal issues in more depth someday. Check out the interview here.
