MVP Shares Positive Health Update Following WWE Departure

MVP is gearing up for the next chapter in his life after leaving WWE alongside Bobby Lashley as their contracts expired earlier this month.

As previously reported, the working idea is to try to reform the Hurt Business stable with Shelton Benjamin, possibly in AEW. It’s also possible they land in another promotion.

MVP previously worked for WWE from 2005–2010. MVP returned to WWE in 2020 by working the Men’s Royal Rumble Match because he wanted his son to see him wrestle in a WWE ring again. He had a producer tryout before being brought back full-time as a wrestler/manager. He also helped form the faction and later managed Omos.

Earlier this month, he made a surprise appearance at Bloodsport XI following Josh Barnett’s match against Bad Dude Tito. This is where he challenged Barnett to a future match.

MVP shared on Instagram that he had received stem cell treatment on his knee and is no longer in pain. Check out the video below:
