Triple H has been a topic that MVP has discussed plenty of times in interviews, but he has yet to devote a full episode of his show to it. That will be changing soon.
The AEW star responded to a YouTuber who had posted a lengthy video critiquing the show. One of the claims was that MVP’s podcast is built around MVP ranting about Triple H every week. Anyone who has listened to it would know that is not true.
On the latest episode of Marking Out with MVP and Dwayne Swayze, MVP addressed this claim and made clear that his feelings about Triple H have not changed since leaving WWE.
“For those of you that are actually watching, you know that that’s just ridiculous,” MVP said. “It’s no secret that I don’t like Triple H. That I have zero respect for the dude. I say all the time he’s a spineless coward.”
MVP also pointed fans toward others who have spoken critically about Triple H.
“To back me up on that, dude, go on YouTube and look up the videos of people who were his friends, that know him personally, that have said similar,” MVP said. “Now it’s all about the messenger, right? If I say it and you don’t like me, then I’m bitter and whatever. But when it comes from one of these wrestlers that you like, then it’s like, oh yeah, you see, perspective, depending on the messenger.”
Despite the criticism, MVP stated the show has never focused an entire episode on Triple H. However, that is going to change.
“But we haven’t done a Triple H episode yet. A few times I’ve done this where I talk about, you know, screw that guy, but there has not been a single Triple H-based episode yet,” he said. “Oh, it’s coming eventually. I’m gonna tell you all about it, but no, not yet.”
MVP previously said he does not respect Triple H and called him “a coward and a liar,” noting what he described as Triple H avoiding one-on-one conversations with him and Bobby Lashley about creative direction. He has also questioned how many wrestlers Triple H helped elevate during his in-ring career.
