The rumors are true: NXT stars Myles Borne and NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer are dating, and the confirmation came via a social media exchange between Borne and his rival, Lexis King. The confirmation came after King took to X (formerly Twitter) to taunt Borne ahead of their match next week, bragging about an upcoming trip to Disney with his girlfriend, Carolina Cruz.
“If anyone needs the King, I’ll be at Disney for 4 DAYS STRAIGHT with my Cuban queen! Then when I get back I’m gonna whip @mylesborne_wwe so hard he’s gonna get his hearing back! The best part is… I’ll be SKINNY the whole time!!! #skinnylexis,” King wrote.
Borne’s response was short, direct, and revealing. “I’ll be with my Chilean queen. See you soon.”
With Vaquer being from Chile, the reply all but officially confirmed the relationship that fans have been speculating about for months. While the two are set to face each other in the ring next week, it remains to be seen if WWE will incorporate their real-life relationship into their on-screen storylines.
