NBA star Enes Kanter was recently interviewed by TMZ Sports for a quick Q&A session on the streets.
This is where Kanter was asked about still having plans to make the transition from playing professional basketball to the world of pro wrestling.
Kanter has expressed interest in joining WWE when he retires as he previously trained with WWE Hall of Famer DDP but also won the WWE 24/7 Title back in September during a WWE Main Event TV taping.
“Yeah, for sure man,” Kanter stated. “Full-time, I’m ready, I’m actually already talking to some people.”
Kanter noted that he’s good friends with Paul Heyman, who oversees the Raw brand, and has spoken with Triple H, and even Vince McMahon. Kanter noted that when he finishes his NBA career then he plans to make the transition. He was asked how much longer he plans to play for, which he responded with 6 or 7 more years.
