Netflix Is Paying Big Money for the Rights to Air WWE Monday Night Raw

TKO, the parent company of WWE and UFC, announced they’ve reached an agreement with Netflix to add WWE’s flagship weekly program, Monday Night Raw, to the streaming service.

The deal

This will be the first time in the history of Raw that it leaves linear television, as it has only aired on the USA Network and Spike/TNN during its existence.

The deal kicks in January 2025, with Netflix being the exclusive home of Raw in the US, UK, Canada, and Latin America, among other territories, with additional countries and regions to be added over time. Raw will remain on Mondays and continue as a 3-hour show.

Money

Deadline reports a person familiar with the terms noted the deal is for ten years and more than $5 billion.

Variety also reports that their sources told them the deal is valued at at least $500 million per year and is believed to run for 10 years. To compare, WWE’s current five-year deal with the USA Network is worth approximately $250-260 million per year.
