WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville recently spoke to the Mirror to promote WrestleMania 33. He will be defending the championship against Austin Aries at WrestleMania. When asked about the championship being defend for the first time in 13 years at WrestleMania, Neville said that he is sure there’s a part of him that’s proud of that but said it’s all about WrestleMania as he feels that he is overdue for his moment at the event. He noted that he has been wrestling for 12 years and is reaching this peak at the top of the mountain. “I have chased that dream for a long time, and I have been denied. This year is about me, it is about my career and about me finally achieving what I have been deserving of for so long, my very own WrestleMania moment. My moment in the sun, so everyone can look on me, look on the King of the Cruiserweights, and realize just how good I am.”
When asked about wrestling Aries at the event, he noted that he hears people talking about this match as a dream match. He said that he could see Aries feeding into this and him spiraling out of control about it. He said that don’t expect this match to be a 20 or 30-minute dream match because it’s going to be a quick affair. “I’m going to dispose of Austin Aries on the grandest stage of them all, in front of the world, but it’s not going to last long, mark my words. I’m not concerned with appeasing people with a dream match. What I care about is Neville and my championship. That’s all I care about.”
