There is an interesting twist with the story about Neville’s contract. It was reported last week by Pro Wrestling Sheet that he is no longer under WWE contract, which means that he can now work for any wrestling company.
PWInsider is reporting that Neville was seen in Pittsburgh, PA last week. That is interesting because he moved back to the United Kingdom with his wife earlier this year and Pittsburgh is where WWE wrestlers go for medical testing. It’s interesting timing and we have no idea what that means.
At this point, I wouldn’t rule out a return to WWE for Neville, especially if Triple H offers him a better deal. They are trying to get the NXT UK show off the ground and Neville would be a great name to utilize as one of their top stars. On the other hand, companies like New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring Of Honor would likely offer big money for him to sign with them and he would have the chance to wrestle at the G1 Supercard show in Madison Square Garden.
We’ll pass along more information when it becomes available. Neville has not done any interviews since walking away from WWE last October.
