According to a report from PWInsider.com, the creative team for WWE’s newly acquired AAA brand is set. The team will apparently consist of “Jeremy Borash, Konnan, and Moody Jack Melendez.”
This group brings a wealth of experience to the table. Borash is a long-time WWE producer with extensive creative history from his time in TNA. Konnan is a Lucha Libre icon and a foundational figure in AAA. Melendez is a veteran announcer known for his work with TNA (notably as the voice of LAX) and various Puerto Rican promotions.
The report adds that “Konnan and Melendez will be at Worlds Collide tomorrow” (June 7th). It also notes that “Melendez and Savio Vega were at the WWE Performance Center earlier this week,” preparing for the inaugural WWE x AAA event.
