New Championship Match Made Official For WWE Clash In Paris

A championship match has been made official for the upcoming WWE Clash in Paris premium live event. On tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw from Birmingham, England, Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch accepted a challenge from WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.

A Heated Confrontation On WWE Raw

The segment began with Nikki Bella interrupting a promo from Becky Lynch and demanding a shot at the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. When Lynch was initially hesitant to grant the match, Bella questioned why she was acting like a “little b*tch.”

The back-and-forth insults continued, with Lynch lashing out at the English fans in attendance. Bella then called the champion a “coward,” which prompted Lynch to finally accept the challenge for the premium live event in Paris.

The Nikki Bella And Becky Lynch Feud

After accepting the match, Lynch made some comments about the city of Birmingham and the late Ozzy Osbourne before Nikki Bella ran her off to end the segment, standing tall in the ring. This will be the first one-on-one match between the two multi-time champions since Nikki Bella’s return to the company.

The Women’s Intercontinental Championship match is the latest addition to the card for the Clash in Paris premium live event, which takes place this Sunday, August 31. The show will also feature a fatal four-way for the World Heavyweight Championship, John Cena vs. Logan Paul, and Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed.
