We noted a couple of weeks ago that WWE had to remove New Jack from ECW pay-per-views because it was difficult for them to remove his music without removing the commentary from the shows since they did not have the rights to the song. The difference between New Jack matches and regular ECW matches is that often times his theme song “Natural Born Killaz” played throughout his matches.
WWE has figured out a way around that by having Joey Styles redo the commentary from those matches. They added a new instrumental hip hop song to his matches and canned crowd noise. It would be great if they could get the actual theme but considering the circumstances, this is much better than not being able to see the footage at all.
