On Friday, WWE announced a new match for the next episode of Monday Night Raw via its website.
Matt Riddle will have a monster clash on the show as he will share the ring with Omos.
On last week’s episode of Raw from Kansas City, MO at the T-Mobile Center, WWE Raw Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Omos laid out Riddle after Riddle was defeated by John Morrison.
It should be noted that this could be where Randy Orton makes his return to TV as he is locally advertised to appear. Of course, Orton is part of a tag with Riddle. Perhaps, Orton will make the save for Riddle to even the odds against the champions.
It’s still unclear what WWE exactly has planned for the two teams, but with SummerSlam looming, it’s possible a title match could be booked for the show.
Previously announced for the show is Raw Women’s Champion Nikki A.S.H. vs. Charlotte Flair in a non-title bout.
