New matches advertised for WWE Extreme Rules

The WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view event takes place on July 14th, 2019 in Philadelphia, PA at the Wells Fargo Center and will air on the WWE Network.

Following last week’s Superstar Shakeup, new matches have been advertised locally for the show. Here are the new matches:

WWE Universal Championship Match: Seth Rollins (champion) vs. Baron Corbin

Singles Match: Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton

Singles Match: AJ Styles vs. Drew McIntyre

This is a change from what WWE was advertising last month with Reigns vs. Corbin and Rollins vs. McIntyre. The company had to make some changes to the card due to stars switching brands. Reigns vs. Orton was teased after last week’s Smackdown Live episode went off the air on the USA Network.

It should be noted that the card is always subject to change.
