“The Vaudevillians” Aiden English and Simon Gotch will be wrestling the NXT Tag Team Champions Blake and Murphy at NXT “Takeover: Brooklyn” event on August 22nd.
As seen recently on NXT, Alexa Bliss, who is the manager for the champions, cost the challenger’s their win in a match against the champs a few week’s back.
Following that match, NXT General Manager William Regal told English and Gotch to find a way to stop Bliss after they were complaining to him about Bliss interfering in the match.
WWE.com is teasing that the challengers will find someone to help them control Bliss by writing the following:
NXT General Manager William Regal granted the old school duo a championship rematch at the Barclays Center on Aug. 22, but suggested that English & Gotch find a way to counteract Alexa Bliss this time around. Can The Vaudevillians neutralize the ever-present threat of Alexa Bliss, or will Blake & Murphy manage to walk out of Brooklyn with the NXT Tag Team Championship? Take this as pure speculation for now as there is no word on which new NXT Diva might be appearing at the event.
