WWE has confirmed the first segment for Monday’s episode of Raw
The company has confirmed that Shinsuke Nakamura is set to speak after this past week’s episode of Raw, where he turned heel. WWE is advertising that fans will find out why Nakamura turned heel by attacking Seth Rollins this past Monday.
In the main event of this week’s show, Nakamura was teaming with Rollins and Cody Rhodes to beat The Judgment Day in a six-man tag team match. Post-match, Nakamura blindsided Rollins with a Kinshasa.
Originally, Sami Zayn had been the one who was supposed to team with Rollins and Rhodes in the bout but was written off television because of an elbow injury in a backstage attack angle with JD McDonagh. Nakamura, who had already defeated Bronson Reed earlier in the night, offered to fill in for him.
It appears WWE is building towards Nakamura challenging for Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship.
The Raw episode will also feature a match between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus.
