The ads for this week’s Raw were promoting The Revival challenging The B-Team for the Raw Tag Team Championships. However, plans changed and due to a backstage attack from Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler, the original match was scrapped. Acting General Manager Baron Corbin deemed it ok to substitute The Revival with Ziggler and McIntyre.
McIntyre and Ziggler defeated The Revival to become Raw Tag Team Champions for the first time with a combination Zig Zag and Claymore. It looks like this is leading to McIntyre and Ziggler defending the titles against Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.
Earlier in the show, there was a big brawl that led to The Shield being taken away in handcuffs so that is why the heels were able to run roughshod on Raw this week.
