New WWE Senior Associate Producer Confirmed

Jim Rodriguez has confirmed he has joined WWE as a Senior Associate Producer, describing the new role as a career milestone he has long been working toward.

Rodriguez posted the announcement on Twitter, writing: “Bucket list job! I’ve joined the WWE as a Senior Associate Producer. Gonna be involved with RAW, SmackDown, NXT productions and making trips to Mexico for AAA. Beyond excited.”

The post was accompanied by photos from recent WWE Raw and SmackDown venues along with a behind-the-scenes look at the production area. His LinkedIn profile confirms he joined WWE in April 2026.

Rodriguez brings significant broadcast production experience to the role. He previously served as a host on the BetMGM Network and worked as a Producer and Associate Director for IMG, where he supervised the Spanish-language broadcast of Major League Soccer on Apple TV.

His appointment comes at an active time for WWE’s production team. Hunter Selby was recently announced as the new Director of Show Production and Design, joining Emmy-nominated lighting work on American Idol and SNL50: The Homecoming Concert. Both hires suggest WWE is actively investing in upgrading the talent behind its television product following the departure of longtime Director of TV Production Gavin O’Shea, who announced he was no longer with the company after 25 years last month.
