New WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Crowned On Raw

The main event of Monday Night Raw saw new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions crowned, but the celebration was cut short by a massive brawl that ended with the shocking return of Rhea Ripley.

New Champions Crowned

The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) challenged Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss for their championships. The match was an intense, back-and-forth affair. At one point, Asuka caught Charlotte in the Asuka lock, which Charlotte escaped but got trapped in the arm bar. Flair reversed it into a Boston Crab before Asuka escaped and kicked Charlotte in the head.

Later, Charlotte locked the figure 4 on Asuka. Kairi Sane came off the top rope to break it up, but Bliss caught her and gave her the Sister Abigail. As Charlotte turned it into the Figure 8 on Asuka, the match fell into chaos.

Nia Jax and Lash Legend broke it up when the referee was distracted.”Seizing the moment, Asuka held Charlotte while Sane came off the top rope with the Insane Elbow and pinned her to win the titles.

Rhea Ripley Returns

The chaos was far from over. After the match, Jax and Legend attacked Bliss and Charlotte. The new champions, The Kabuki Warriors, then joined in on the beat down of the former champions.

IYO SKY ran into the ring and fended off the heels, but they overpowered her. The 4-on-3 assault was only stopped when Rhea Ripley’s music hit.

Ripley, wearing a face mask, hit the ring and helped the babyfaces finally fend off the heels to end the show,” clearing the ring of all the heels before yelling, “War Games”
