News on AEW’s plans for Stadium Stampede match at Double Or Nothing

Stadium Stampede featuring The Inner Circle vs. The Pinnacle is slated to take place this Sunday at the AEW Double Or Nothing as Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Santana, and Ortiz look to settle the score with MJF, FTR, Wardlow, and Shawn Spears.

At last year’s show, The Inner Circle lost to The Elite (Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and Adam Page) in the main event. This match was filmed the night before the show at the stadium where the Jacksonville Jaguars play football, which is close by to Daily’s Place.

When All Elite Wrestling announced the second Stadium Stampede match, fans wondered how AEW would book the layout of the match and if it would be live or taped in advance.

Fightful Select reported today that they were told the match is said to have a “significant live element to it.” and would be a “unique live experience.” No other details were given.

The stipulation to go along with the match is if The Inner Circle loses then they must disband. The group just lost to The Pinacle earlier this month in a Blood and Guts Match.
