Bad Bunny was one of the surprise entrants in the men’s Royal Rumble match on Saturday night as he entered the bout at #27 and did some spots before being eliminated.
It was reported earlier in the week the rapper was expected to be at the show and a photo of him with The Undertaker backstage came out before the Royal Rumble went live. WWE was also selling new Bad Bunny merchandise at the venue.
Following this appearance, there has been speculation as to whether WWE has plans for Bunny at WrestleMania 38. As mentioned on the broadcast by the commentators, he is set to do two sold-out tours over the next few months including concerts in Miami, FL on April 2nd and 3rd, These are the same dates as WrestleMania 38 so he won’t be appearing.
Wrestlers and fans praised Bunny for his work in the tag team match at WrestleMania 37 – Night 1 last year. He has said in past interviews that he’s a lifelong fan so it’s likely he will work inside the squared circle again.
