News on Chris Jericho’s status with WWE

Chris Jericho, who has been under a month-to-month deal with WWE since last January, noted on Wednesday’s episode of Talk is Jericho that he has signed a new contract with WWE this week. He did not mention the length of the contract, but it’s expected that he’ll stay on WWE TV until after WrestleMania 33.

Currently, Jericho has a lot of projects going on. His rock band Fozzy will be touring the summer festival circuit following Wrestlemania 33. The tour starts in late April of 2017. They have also been announced for Rocklahoma and Carolina Rebellion in May of 2017. The band signed a new record deal with Century Media this past October and is currently recording a new album. Also, Jericho’s new book, No Is a Four-letter Word: How I Failed Spelling but Succeeded in Life, is scheduled to be released in August of 2017.
