Dave Meltzer wrote in the latest Wrestling Observer newsletter about John Cena’s merchandise sales. If the company never turns him heel then you can point to the merchandise sales as the reason why. Daniel Bryan is the 2nd biggest merchandise seller in the company. That was a spot CM Punk had. Punk’s merchandise still does well though. Cena sells 5 times the amount of merchandise that Bryan sells.
In other news, Batista went on twitter yesterday and wondered why some fans can’t tell the difference between show and reality. I’m guessing this is in response to some tweets he’s gotten.
