WWE was scouting talent Shimmer talent on 4/7, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Dave Meltzer noted that Tessa Blanchard, who was featured in last year's Mae Young Classic, was said to be one of the standout performers. Blanchard cut a promo a few months ago at an independent show and alluded to what people were saying about attitude issues so that could be why WWE has yet to sign her. Mercedes Martinez was also said to be a standout.
