News on Renee Young’s future at the WWE Raw commentary table

Renee Young made history earlier this week when she became the first woman in WWE history to commentate a full episode of Monday Night Raw.

Young joined veteran commentators Corey Graves and Michael Cole this Monday at the booth. She received good reviews from fans on social media, with some even saying they prefer Young over the man she was filling in for – Jonathan Coachman. Young is also slated to commentate the Mae Young Classic tournament which is set to begin airing next month.

She has some experience calling WWE events such as NXT and Superstars in the past. After her performance on Raw this Monday, fans have begun to wonder if Young will be featured more regularly as a commentator on either Raw or SmackDown Live.

According to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, there are currently no plans to have Young become a regular member of the Raw commentary team. It was noted, however, that WWE brass were impressed with her performance Monday. Young is also reportedly interested in doing more commentary work for WWE if the opportunities arise.
