News on Rey Mysterio and AAA’s television debut in the United States

The Wrestling Observer newsletter is reporting that the new AAA show on the El Rey Network is scheduled to debut in September. AAA will be taping shows in August in Los Angeles. The August dates are tentative. The report notes the comments made by Rey Mysterio this week. AAA was hoping to have Rey Mysterio for their US TV debut and to use him as their top star but in an interview this week he said that he considers WWE his home. It could be true or Mysterio was being careful because the interview was booked by WWE while he was on assignment for the company in Spain.
