News on which match is scheduled to close out the WWE Evolution PPV

We now know what match will headline WWE Evolution later this month. After The Bella Twins turned on Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey this past Monday, it was announced “The Rowdy One” would defend her title against Nikki Bella at the upcoming all-female PPV.

The action goes down from Uniondale, New York on October 28th. There has been a lot of speculation as to what the main event for the historic card would be. Speaking at the ACE Comic Con in Chicago, Illinois yesterday, Bella revealed that she and Rousey’s Raw Women’s Title bout will main event the PPV.

This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, given Rousey and Bella are WWE’s biggest female names. Rousey is a global mega-star due to her notoriety from the UFC. Bella is a reality TV star over on the E! Network and brings a whole new fan base of her own. It’s only fitting that the two headline the evening.

Here is the updated card for the Evolution pay-per-view:

Raw Women’s Championship
Ronda Rousey (Champion) vs. Nikki Bella

Smackdown Women’s Championship – Last Woman Standing match
Becky Lynch (Champion) vs. Charlotte Flair

NXT Women’s Championship
Kairi Sane (Champion) vs. Shayna Baszler

NXT UK Women’s Championship
Rhea Ripley (Champion) vs. ???

2018 Mae Young Classic tournament final
Io Shirai vs. Toni Storm

Lita and Trish Stratus vs. Alexa Bliss and Mickie James
