We noted earlier this week that the plans for John Cena to win the WWE World Heavyweight title was decided a while ago right when they found out that Daniel Bryan would need to be stripped of the title. So a swerve at Money In The Bank was actually not in the plans even though the outcome of the match was very predictable to most fans online.
Another reason why WWE probably would be so hesitant to do a swerve the last week before the show is because of the work involved with changing the name plates on the titles.
Also, if you did not notice, the belts were bolted shut on Sunday’s Money In The Bank show. That is why Randy Orton (at TLC) and John Cena (at Money In The Bank) had to remove the hanger they were on to win those matches.
