News on WWE moving original Survivor Series match to TLC, ticket sales

It was revealed through an advertisement of matches that one of the matches is expected to be featured on the WWE TLC card is Rusev vs. Lashley.

It turns out that this match was originally slated to take place at the Survivor Series pay-per-view.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the reason the match was moved from Survivor Series to TLC was due to the feeling that the show is already overloaded because of the 15-person Elimination Matches with WWE NXT, Raw and SmackDown teams.

In theory, that means there would have to go 10 to 14 falls each with at least some quick eliminations.

As of this writing, the plan is to book Rusev vs. Lashley with a non-stipulation at TLC. To see other matches advertised for TLC, click here

Regarding ticket sales for Survivor Series,  the event is nearly sold out with the exception of seats priced higher than $250. Prices on the secondary market are at $90 for entry level and around 950 seats out. The arena will be set up for around 12,000 fans.
