Dave Meltzer noted on the last night’s episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE officials are now allowing talents to do more bumps on the ring apron, which is actually the hardest part of the ring.
The reason for this is believed to be directly related to Ring of Honor and their talents doing those spots so often.
Those bumps were taken more than a dozen times throughout last night’s WWE Battleground PPV.
