The WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony is an incredible scene every year as the pro wrestling world focuses on the past and those who have paved the way for the business. Goldberg and The Dudley Boyz have already been announced to receive inductions this year which would make for a great ceremony on their own, to be honest. After all, those guys have plenty of stories to tell. But it looks like there is room for more inductees this year.
The projected list as first reported by Brad Shepard included Goldberg and The Dudley Boyz. This would give us a pretty good indication that the other names he mentioned could be on the money as well. Ivory, Bam Bam Bigelow, and Kid Rock were also on the list from Shepard.
Now WWE has made it official via ESPN that Ivory will be inducted into the 2018 WWE Hall Of Fame.
Seeing how WWE usually has around several inductees every year including a Warrior Award recipient then there could be a couple surprises. Therefore some those fans who are still clamoring to see great names from WWE’s history that still haven’t received an induction like Christian or Davey Boy Smith might still have a chance.
But the official announcement this week is that Ivory will be joining the WWE Hall Of Fame this year and it is certainly a fitting honor as a 3-time WWF Women’s Champion who braves the stigma of being a women’s wrestler before the WWE Women’s Revolution. She paved the way for the Superstars we enjoy today and this honor is a highly appropriate and well-deserved one.
