Nia Jax: ‘I Have No Doubt That’ Lash Legend Is ‘Gonna Be A Women’s Champion For A Very Long Time’

Nia Jax has predicted that her tag team partner, Lash Legend, is destined to become a long-term WWE Women’s Champion as a singles competitor, saying she has no doubt about that future while expressing hope that their partnership as The Irresistible Forces lasts as long as possible.

Speaking on the RAW Recap podcast, Jax reflected on Lash’s growth since her call-up to the main roster and outlined what she believes makes her partner special beyond her physical gifts.

“I had no doubt when she came up that she would just blend right in,” Jax said. “She was already ready to get in here and dominate, but Lash, she’s a student of the game. She’s willing to listen, she’s willing to learn. She is very confident in who she is, but she also is always open to suggestions, so it’s really the easiest and smoothest transition for her to come up and work with us. I’m having fun watching her continuously every week get better and better.”

Jax made clear the ceiling she sees for her partner when the time eventually comes for them to go their separate ways. “I hope we never break up, but one day when she has her own singles run, I have no doubt that she’s gonna be a Women’s Champion for a very long time,” Jax said.

The Irresistible Forces are currently the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions and are heading into WrestleMania 42 with those titles on the line in a fatal four-way tag team match that also involves Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, the Bella Twins, and Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Jax and Legend have been booked strongly as a team in the women’s division since pairing up, regularly laying out multiple teams each week on SmackDown in the weeks leading into WrestleMania weekend.
