Nia Jax opens up on Becky Lynch punch incident, what Charlotte Flair said to her

Nia Jax Becky Lynch Charlotte Flair

Former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax had an incident that derailed one of the biggest planned matches of 2018. Then-SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch was pulled from her scheduled champion vs. champion match against current WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at the Survivor Series pay-per-view in November.

The reason for that was due to Lynch suffering a broken nose and concussion during the Raw invasion angle after getting punched out by Jax that saw Lynch suffer a “broken face” and concussion. Her replacement would be Charlotte Flair who ended up facing Rousey in a non-title match at Survivor Series.

While doing an interview with Bleacher Report, Jax reflected on what Flair told her that gave her encouragement about the negative situation.

But when she put it in that perspective, I started to think about it differently. Now, it's something that people will remember forever. It was crazy, but it turned into something pretty cool."
