On this past Monday's episode of Raw, WWE hyped up this weekend's Survivor Series pay-per-view. To close the show, a huge Raw vs. SmackDown Live brawl broke out inside the ring between the women of both brands. The segment was fronted by SmackDown Live Women's Champion Becky Lynch and Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey.
Unfortunately, during the exchange, Nia Jax hit Lynch with a very hard shot that legitimately broke her face and busted her nose open. Lynch was able to power through and finish the segment, however, the situation soon spiraled out of control. It was later determined that Lynch was too injured to compete at Survivor Series this weekend.
Her big match with Ronda Rousey in Las Angeles was called off. It was the most anticipated match of the card before the injury. Lynch has now been replaced in the match by Charlotte Flair. Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, who initially broke the news of Lynch's injury, has now reported on Nia Jax's perception backstage.
