Real American Freestyle is set to make its debut on August 30, and the son of Hulk Hogan will have a permanent role in the company. At a recent press conference, Nick Hogan confirmed his position with the new league.
The promotion’s first event is set to take place in Cleveland, Ohio, and will air on Fox Nation. The debut show will also serve as a tribute to the late Hulk Hogan, who will have a posthumous, permanent role with the company.
Nick Hogan’s Role
During the kickoff press conference for the new league, Nick Hogan made it clear that his father will forever be the promotion’s commissioner. He explained that he will be there to represent his father’s interests and ensure the league’s success.
“My dad, Hulk Hogan, will always serve as the commissioner for this league,” Nick Hogan said. “I will be here to represent his interests and his growth in this business, and to see it through all the way to the stratosphere.”
A New Promotion Built On A Legacy
The promotion’s debut show is being billed as a tribute to the late icon, who passed away on July 24 at the age of 71. In addition to the debut special on Fox Nation, the promotion is also planning a weekly television show that is scheduled to launch in 2026.
Fans were first introduced to him on the VH1 reality show, Hogan Knows Best, which chronicled his family’s daily life.
